New York Deli in Dearborn

Excellent food. I had the grilled chicken on wheat bread with Italian. Amazing!! Will come again

Not that good, I got a veggie quesadilla and it was super greasy and I ordered Cajun fries and they were just regular fries with cajun powder on top. Sad.

Veggie Quesadilla was very greasy. Would not recommend veggie quesadilla from this place. I have tasted other dishes and they are great.

The staff and management here is very nice. First time trying the food at New York Deli and I didn’t know what to expect of it. The sandwiches are one of a kind, very delicious. The place is very clean and well put together, it’s a shame they don’t get much business they truly deserve it. Look forward to coming here again!

Hands down best deli in Michigan

Phenomenal service and excellent food. Absolutely the best deli i have come across. The owner is passionate about his business, & his customers. He came by my table 4 times to make sure i had everything i needed, to get a drink for me, he grabbed my trash for me twice & double checked to see how i liked my sandwich. He did the same for everyone else in the deli. One of the line cooks even asked if i needed anything and how i liked the food on his way to drop off food to another table. The food is outstanding. I tried the NY Club, but will definitely be back to try more! Very large portions, reasonably priced. I will most definitely be bringing my business back here many times in the future. Also, decorated nicely and very well put together. Not just your typical deli restaurant. This is the first review i have ever written about a food place, it seemed necessary because of how great i was treated here.

Been to NY and ate from its delis, this place compared to them is unbelievably amazing, Best Philly cheese in Dearborn. Prices are a lil high, amazing fresh meats and food.

My son and I were in town for a coin show. We stopped for lunch and boy did we find a gem! The food was amazing and the service was second to none! We will certainly be back when we are back in Dearborn, thank you New York deli! Every single worker welcomed us and was so polite and friendly!

Love this delie kind staff clean and great food

This is an absolutely delicious place for halal deli meat sandwiches. Tried the Manhattan and the NY Club. Definitely would recommend the Manhattan. The hot pastrami was delicious. The coleslaw had cranberries in it which gave the sandwich a nice touch of sweetness. The Russian dressing present in many of the sandwiches compliments the deli meats quite nicely. We also tried the chili cheese dog which was excellent and only 2 bucks. Would definitely come here again to try more of what they have to offer.

They have some really good food for a very good price. The staff was nice and the wait was not long at all. You get a lot of food! It didn't remind me of NY haha but it was super tasty! Definitely wanna try more sandwiches!

Been there a couple times and always ordered the Italian sub, its FREAKING AMAZING, the chicken is great as well. The place is clean, great customer service, and overall a great place.

Finally a halal deli! Good portion sizes; very tender and succulent meat without any chewiness or rubber taste. Good customer service, accommodate personalization of items even if not listen on menu.

New York Deli- A great place for a custom made sandwich. The corned beef reminds me of the good old days in Ireland when me grandmother slowed cooked it for hours on a wood stove. God Bless Ireland and the New York Deli!

Best steak sub I ever had!!

Just noticed this place recently and decided to try it for lunch, after my second lunch in two days, all I can say is, you will not be disappointed.Day 1, thought I'd try the 'Henry Ford', because I'm in Dearborn, I liked the texture change with the addition of onion rings, great steak sauce too.Day 2, I went for the Bronx (see photo), because anything with roast beef, pastrami & hot corned beef must be good, and it was. Will definitely be back.

Best food in Dearborn! I got a chicken shawarma from NY Deli 2 days ago, put it in the fridge, and just now heated it back up and it stayed fresh and just as delicious! Definitely recommend 🙏🏼

First time trying Deli and I have to say it was gooood! I always assumed Deli meat was cold but the NY Club I got was warm. Also everything is Halal!

Good lunch special. Shwarma, spicey fries and drink for $7.95. Small place, but clean and reasonably fast. Shwarma was warm, tasty with right amount of garlic in sauce.

I decided to give this place a try after couple of my friends recommended it. The food is really good. A lot of restaurants in Dearborn have fallen off ,but this restaurant is really good.

Had lunch. I had the Yankee and it was packed with meat. An enjoyable sandwich. My wife had a combo shawarma sandwich, which she enjoyed. The chicken in it was very tasty.

Bad attitudes. Bad service. What more can a customer ask for? They get cocky when they make a mistake on your sandwich. They fight the customer for making a complaint on their mistake. When you order a sandwich with certain add ons, they mess it up. It's like when you ask for a sandwich made in a certain way, they block out everything you ordered and make the sandwich the way they want. This is not the first time, it has happened numerous times before. Also, they have unorganized closing schedules. I'm saying all this because I am fed up, I didn't want to write a bad review, everyone makes mistakes , but they've made more mistakes than they're supposed to. I hope they read these customer reviews to motivate themselves to have better service.

I am in LOVE with this restaurant. Hands down this is my go to place for lunch. The FOOD IS AMAZING FOR A GREAT PRICE. Clean and Nice staff.
